Storms hammer Flathead Valley

Vehicles drive through a large puddle of water that formed at the intersection of Spokane Avenue and Second Street in Whitefish on Thursday night after heavy thunderstorms swept through the Flathead Valley. Emergency responders fielded numerous reports of lightning strikes, fallen trees and downed powerlines across the county.
