Boyfriend threat to mother, daughter

 The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a woman saying that her mother’s boyfriend pulled a knife on her and threatened to stab her, and that the man has been recently been threatening her mother. The man was arrested at the Dorothy Street residence for assault with a weapon.

While walking to work in Hungry Horse, a man called to report that his girlfriend had just struck him in the head with a bottle at a First Street Southeast residence. He later did not want to press charges, but a deputy was present for him to collect belongings to leave the residence.

There was a report of a mountain bike being stolen from a West Cottonwood Drive residence.

There was a report of several vehicles being broken into on Ash Road.

A woman called from a Jellison Road residence saying that her landlord’s intoxicated son was threatening her over an alleged rent issue.

A person reported that there was a pontoon boat high centered on a stump on the shallow north end of Flathead Lake. A responding deputy later could not locate any boats in distress.

A woman calling from Blacktail Road reported that her intoxicated ex-boyfriend harassed her, keyed her pickup truck, and then punched a man. The ex-boyfriend then left the scene, driving north on U.S. 93 from the Lakeside area.

There was a report of a woman breaking into a home at a trailer park on U.S. 93 south of Whitefish after she had been evicted from the entire trailer park. The woman claimed she was collecting belongings, but she was arrested for burglary.

A truck driver calling from Birch Grove Road reported that someone threw a balloon full of paint at his truck.

Monday morning, there was a report of a mountain bike being stolen from an address on Second Street West North in the Columbia Falls area.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday regarding a driver that apparently nodded off while waiting for the traffic light in the right hand turn land of Meridian Road at the intersection of U.S. 2 West. The reporting party said people were honking at the driver as he sat through about five light cycles. The reporting party knocked on the vehicle’s window, the man woke up and drove off down U.S. 2.

There was a report of a purse being stolen from a vehicle while parked on Northwest Lane near the Kalispell Middle School.

There was a report of a customer taking tobacco and running out of a store on West Idaho Street.

A person calling from a Two Mile Drive address reported that he witnessed people in a truck load up his bicycle and drive away. The man said he was driving around looking for the truck.

Early Monday, just after midnight, there was a report of a man being struck on North Meridian Road by a car occupied by people the man claimed had attempted to rob him. The man was located and taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment, but it appeared he may have actually been disoriented because of issues with medication. The story about being robbed and struck by a vehicle appeared to be unfounded.

A person reported a break-in to a garage on Second Avenue East.
