Andrew T. 'Hoss' Overcash, 46

Andrew T. “Hoss” Overcash, 46, passed away on July 19, 2011, near his home in Whitefish.

“Cap’n Hoss,” the son of Marvin C. Overcash and Elizabeth Townsend Overcash, grew up in Virginia Beach and spent many years in the sport scuba diving industry as an instructor, retailer and charter boat captain. He brought joy to many and gave of himself tirelessly. He will be missed greatly. 

He is survived by brothers, Charles E. Overcash, Michael E. Overcash and Stephen C. Overcash; sister-in-law, Kimberly A. Overcash; niece, Elizabeth K. Overcash; and nephews, Harrison M. Overcash and Stephen C. Overcash.

A celebration of Andrews's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, at Andrew’s home, 430 Beaver Lake Road in Whitefish. A potluck dinner is planned. Please bring a dish to share. Call Kim with any questions or help you can give; 270-7695.
