Richard Burley appointed new Kalispell Postmaster

Richard Burley has been appointed postmaster for the Kalispell Post Office.

Burley began his career with the Postal Service 24 years ago, starting in 1987 as a letter carrier in Great Falls. He also worked as supervisor of delivery for the Postal Service in Great Falls and later was manager of Post Office operations for Northern Montana, overseeing 94 Post Offices for the USPS. He was postmaster in Glendive for 15 years before accepting the Kalispell position.

 As postmaster, Burley is the senior manager of customer service and delivery operations for the Kalispell Post Office at 350 N. Meridian Road.

The Kalispell Post Office has 91 employees who process and deliver an average of 380,146 pieces of mail per day to 26,628 customer addresses serving the Kalispell area. The Kalispell Post Office provides mail service to ZIP codes 59901, 59903 and 59904.
