Libby, Mariners unbeaten in Western A District baseball tourney

LIBBY - Libby scored runs in five of the first seven innings to beat Kalispell 8-5 on Friday at the Western A District American Legion baseball tournament.

Libby pounded out 13 hits in the contest, led by Andrew Haggerty going 3 for 3.

Both teams were unbeaten in tournament play.

Mission Valley also stayed in winners' bracket play by defeating the Missoula Mavs 5-2.

Glacier remained alive with an 8-7 victory over Kootenai Valley in loser-out play.
