Deputies ferret out truth about weasels

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a man on Victory Lane who reported that there were at least two ferrets under his barbecue grill Monday at about 11:30 a.m. The animals were later identified as weasels.

Deputies escorted a man out of a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday after he became disorderly, harassed a bartender and claimed to be Jesus Christ.

A man on Concord Lane said his 1991 GMC Jimmy was stolen over the weekend. The keys had been left inside the vehicle.

On Bison Drive, a woman reported finding drugs in her 16-year-old son’s bedroom. The boy is already on probation, she said.

Fraud was alleged in Forest Hill Village where a caller accused a contractor of bilking an elderly woman out of money for work that was not completed.

A man on Yellowstone Street called 911 after his girlfriend threatened to crash her car after an argument. She told officers she was angry and did not intend to harm herself.

A man was seen attempting to break into a vehicle on Sixth Avenue West at about 11:30 p.m. Monday. Nothing was stolen.

Someone reported suspicious activity after seeing a man wearing a white suit in Lawrence Park late Monday night.
