Kalispell Insty Print's Genny Burnham sneaks past Polson Smash's third basemen Peyton Anderson on a steal late in the game. Despite the play, Burnham was unable to score in the inning, giving Polson a 4-2 victory.

The Kalispell Youth Softball Association's MidSeason Tournament completes its three-day run at Kidsports Complex this afternoon.

Action begins at 8 a.m. Championship games will take place at 3 p.m. in all three divisions - 10U, 12U and 14U.

Twenty-six teams are entered from Kalispell, Polson and Cranbrook, B.C.

Not competing this year are Columbia Falls, Ronan, Whitefish and Thompson Falls. Last year there were 34 teams entered.

Tournament director Jamie Compton said this marks the 10th year the tournament has included teams from outside the Flathead Valley.

Saturday's rainy weather did delay one round of games, but the entire schedule was completed.
