WHITEFISH - Geoff Streeter knocked two homeruns and the Glacier Twins salvaged a split with Helena on Sunday at home.

Streeter had two 2-run homers in the second game of a doubleheader against the Senators and the Twins bounced back after losing 10-4 in the opener to win 10-9 in the nightcap.

"We came out pretty flat and defense and mental mistakes really buried us in the first game. It was good to see us bounce back and come away with a win in that second game," Twins skipper Lindsay Fansler said.

Streeter's first homers of the season vaulted the Twins to a 7-6 record.

Kyler Blades and Cody Hill each had two RBI in the second game and Chris King and Devyn Rocker each had one. Jeremy Neilson had seven strikeouts.

In the opener, Cody Elek smacked a 2-run homer in the third to tie the game, but the Senators cruised from there, outscoring the Twins 7-1 down the stretch.

Blades added two RBI in that game.

The Twins return to action on Friday at the Canadian Days Tournament in Kalispell.
