Renter reports landlord assault

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office received a report Sunday from a man who said he had been assaulted by his landlord's husband at a Pioneer Road address. The matter is under investigation.

There was a report of someone in a sport utility vehicle dumping off a dog on West Evergreen Drive and speeding away. The dog was rounded up and taken to the animal shelter.

There was a report of gas being siphoned from a vehicle on Big Sky Boulevard.

A man calling from Eagle Mountain Way reported that his estranged wife got into a safe and stole his son's wallet and other items.

Someone called from the Berne Road area to report that a shed had blown into a roadside ditch and there was concern that it could blow onto the road, causing a hazard. The shed was secured.

A man calling from Spotted Bear Road in Martin City reported that he witnessed a neighbor child let the air out of a tire on his vehicle.

There was a report of an intoxicated man entering a home on Pheasant Drive and confronting a person. That led to a fight with the roommate's dad, but no one was seriously hurt, apparently.

There was a report of a black Angus steer running loose, southbound on Montana 206. The owner was contacted and the steer eventually left the highway.

A loud party on Kelsey Road in the Marion area may have led to the arrest of minors drinking alcohol.

There was a a report of a physical disturbance involving a woman who was bleeding from her head and arms at a Conrad Drive residence. The matter is under investigation.

Early Sunday, just after 2 a.m., there was a report of two truckloads of guys threatening people at a convenience store parking lot on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. They were not located.
