Unknown man reportedly aims gun at couple

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office said a woman on West Reserve Drive called 911 and reported that an unknown male pointed a gun at her boyfriend and cocked it as they were walking through the parking lot of an apartment complex. Deputies were unable to find the man.

A woman on Lake Drive in Columbia Falls said she was called profane names and sexually propositioned by a telemarketer after she asked to be placed on a “no call list.”

Deputies arrested a man after he reportedly began yelling, screaming and pushing others while at a bar on U.S. 2 East.

Floodwater was reportedly creeping closer to structures on Old Tally Lake Road in Whitefish Tuesday afternoon.

On Vista Loop, a caller said a dog was trying to escape a home through an open second story window.

A hit and run collision was reported on First Avenue West where a woman apparently backed into a building and damaged a drainage pipe before driving away.

A 12-year-old reported that another youth was writing “bad words” on a wall on Second Street West.

Someone drove away from a business on U.S. 93 North without paying for $50.57 in gasoline.

Officers were unable to find a man who was reportedly seen passed out next to a building on West Idaho Street.

In a separate report, a woman on Lambert Court said her daughter was strangled and thrown down a set of stairs during a fight with another woman on Tuesday.

A 12-year-old boy was caught shoplifting at a business on First Avenue East North.

Someone broke into a business on U.S. 93 and took $150.

A man on Glenwood Drive reported that his neighbor threatens him every time he goes outside.
