Man reportedly shoots himself in foot

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report after a 28-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the foot with a .22 caliber rifle while target practicing near Whistlin Drive in Olney Tuesday at about 3 p.m.

Skates, an iPod and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked near West Reserve Drive.

Someone burglarized a shed on U.S. 93 South, but nothing appeared to be stolen.

Rabbits were reportedly abandoned along LaBrandt Road, according to a nearby resident.

An abandoned vehicle was located along U.S. 2 West outside Columbia Falls. Someone had stolen the stereo from the vehicle.

Parents were called after a 9-year-old boy gave a first grade student a prescription pill at a school on Old River Bridge Road in West Glacier.

A caller on Mooring Road said his friend’s wife sold his friend’s trailer while he was in jail.

On Monroe Street in Bigfork, a woman said someone shot the door to her home.

A man on Tamarack Lane in Columbia Falls said he wanted his wife arrested after she allegedly took his money.

Tools were reportedly stolen from an automotive business on Third Avenue East in Kalispell.

A woman on Seventh Street West in Hungry Horse called on behalf of her stepdaughter, whose ex-boyfriend was refusing to return a laptop computer.

Two women were cited for shoplifting at a business on U.S. 2 East.

The owner of two dogs on Smith Lake Road was cited after the dogs attacked a neighbor’s goat and pig.

At a home on Echo Lake Road, a woman accused her adult son of stealing an Xbox gaming system.

A woman on Tetrault Road reported that a tree had fallen near the Whitefish River causing a large pool to buildup behind it.

Deputies went to a home on Coyote Meadow Trail after a brother of a woman who lived there reported she was fighting with her husband. The woman said she and her husband were arguing about dogs being in their house. They separated for the night and no one was cited.

Kalispell Police Department officers received a call after a male carrying a screwdriver and wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt ran from a home on Eighth Avenue West when a neighbor saw him. The neighbor suspected the male was trying to burglarize the residence.

Extra patrols were requested after someone stole a planter from a business on West Washington Street.

Criminal mischief was reported on Crestline Avenue where a caller reported a vehicle’s tire had been slashed.

Someone broke a window of a vehicle parked at an apartment complex on Appleway Drive.

On Second Avenue West, a day care employee called police after customers began cursing and demanding a cash refund.

A man was cited and released for possession of dangerous drugs after a traffic stop sparked by a complaint that the man was speeding near Fourth Avenue West.

An intoxicated man was given a ride home after he initially refused to leave a bar on First Avenue West.

A woman at an apartment complex on North Meridian Road said someone stole her clothes from the laundry room.

On Sixth Avenue West, a 21-year-old woman reported that she had consumed too much alcohol and needed her stomach pumped at about 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers were unable to find a man who stole beer from a business on First Avenue East.

Someone put pepper spray on a vehicle near Third Avenue West, according to a caller.

A bike was reported stolen on Third Street West.

A garden hoe was stolen from a porch on 10th Street East.
