Locked-out woman wants cigarette

Kalispell Police officers responded to a home on Airport Road after a woman reported that a man living on the floor above her had locked his girlfriend on a balcony. The woman texted the neighbor to ask that she throw a cigarette up to her. Officers determined it was a misunderstanding.

Officers attempted to locate a man after he told his mother he had stolen a vehicle and needed firearms at her home on Fifth Avenue West. He later returned the guns. It’s not clear if he actually stole a vehicle.

Harassment was reported on Appleway Drive after a man found a threatening note on his vehicle.

A caller at a business on First Avenue East North reported that someone left a hose on, causing flood damage to the building’s basement.

A woman reported domestic abuse at a home on Sixth Street West.

On Rosewood Drive, a baby-sitter reported that the mother of the children she was watching called from a bar and refused to come home Friday night.

Three teenage girls were cited and released after they were caught shoplifting at a business on First Avenue East North.

A woman on Appleway Drive reported that someone was writing checks on her estranged boyfriend’s bank account.

Criminal mischief was reported on North Main Street after someone driving a gray Subaru shot paintballs at a vehicle.

A caller on Ninth Street East reported that residents in a neighboring home were being loud.

On Third Avenue West, a woman said she was shoved to the ground by her ex-boyfriend’s friend Friday night.

Officers were unable to find two men a caller described as suspicious on East Idaho Street.

Someone drove over a mailbox on Harrison Boulevard.

Burnt sausage set off a fire alarm on Ninth Avenue West Saturday morning.

A man went to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office on South Main Street to report that two men were following and had attempted to fight him.
