Man Tasered in local park

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a combative man threatening to fight people in Bigfork’s Sliter Park area Sunday night. The sheriff’s log says that a Taser was deployed by responding deputies.

Earlier in the day, there was a report of a house being egged on Solberg Drive, and it apparently wasn’t the first time.

There was a verbal disturbance involving a couple in the midst of a divorce on Dawn Drive in the Columbia Falls area. The woman wanted back into the house to get belongings and the husband didn’t want to let her in.

A man calling from Bear Creek Road reported that people were trespassing on his property and stealing wood.

A woman who was checking on a Coyote Ridge Road residence in the Somers area for the owners fled the residence after hearing suspicious voices coming from the bathroom. Deputies who investigated ended up locating two teenage boys, who were later escorted to their parents.

There was a report of a stop sign being struck down by a vehicle on East Reserve Drive.

There was a report of a man acting in a threatening manner at a casino on Osprey Business Court. He was instructed to leave and not return or be charged with trespass.

There was a report of a man walking a dog down the middle of Coyote Meadow Trail, blocking vehicles and chasing them if he feels they are going to too fast, and apparently it is not the first time he has done it.

A woman called from a residence on U.S. 2 West in the Evergreen area to report that a man had slammed her to the concrete and then left. The matter is under investigation.

There was a report of a domestic disturbance at a Shady Lane residence involving a woman who head-butted a man, giving him a bloody lip. She wanted him out of the house, and he ended up leaving with his belongings.

There was a report of a kayak stolen from a residence on Lion Mountain Road in the Whitefish area.

An 11-year-old boy was out of control and threatening to hurt family members at a residence on Montana 35 in the Evergreen area.

A Vista Lane resident reported a theft of an XBox game console, a coat and other items. The resident was aware of a suspect.

A reckless four-wheeler rider was reported around Dunwoody Lane in the Columbia Falls area, with the reporting party saying the rider started yelling at her after she confronting him for nearly hitting her child and pet. 

There was a report of a man beating people up outside a bar on First Street West in Hungry Horse at about 10:30 p.m.

A woman calling from Lost Creek Drive reported that her ex-boyfriend was pounding on the windows of her home, trying to break in. She feared that things would get bad if he got in, but the man eventually left.

A man called to report kids hiding in bushes off West Evergreen Drive and throwing eggs at passing vehicles. He said his windshield was hit.

After a deputy made a pedestrian stop on two individuals in the Shady Lane area early Monday, they fled on foot and escaped.

The Montana Highway Patrol and emergency personnel responded to a motorcycle accident on Montana 35 east of Kalispell Sunday afternoon involving a man and woman being thrown from the motorcycle after it went into a ditch. The man was initially unresponsive and may have suffered a broken arm, and the woman may have suffered a hip injury.
