Mary L. Nix, 71

Mary L. Nix, 71, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Mary was born Dec. 9, 1939, in Liberal, Kan., to Clarence and Hallie Nix. Mary was a devoted daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She had worked as a nurse for most of her life. Mary spent the majority of her life in Kansas, moving to Montana in 2007. She stayed in Havre for a short time, then moved to Kalispell in 2008. She lived at Wel-Life with her mother, then they got an apartment where they lived together.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Hallie Nix, in March of 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Tammey Blinco and husband, Bruce; three grandchildren, Leslie Driear (Matt); Carrie Stremel and Joseph Stremel, all of Kalispell; six beautiful great-grandchildren, Cylus and Berlynn Stremel and Hunter, Ayden, Evan, and Luke Direar, all of Kalispell.

Friends may greet the family at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, from 3 to 4 p.m.
