Burton Lee 'Burt' Arnoux, 82

Burton Lee "Burt" Arnoux, 82, passed away Oct. 24, 2011, at the Evergreen Convalescent Center in Hot Springs.

Burt was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Browning, to George and Rose Arnoux, later known as Rose Turner. At the age of 7, Burt and his family moved to the Flathead Valley and he went to Egan School. He later resided with his mother at 712 Fifth Ave. W., in Kalispell.

In 1952 he became a dedicated baptized brother in the Kalispell West congregation, serving as an elder, and later as an elder in the Woodland Park congregation, working hard in the construction of this Kingdom Hall.

Burt, as he was preferred to be called, was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, John Miller and Carl William “Billie” Turner; and two sisters, Bertha Arnoux and Velma Hutton.

He is survived by two brothers, Alvin of Portland, and Don and his wife of Salem, Ore.; along with nieces and nephews.

Services for Burt will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Kingdom Hall, 1414 Woodland Ave. A reception will follow immediately at the Country Kitchen at the fairgrounds.
