Jeep still smoking after accident

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report regarding a white Jeep completely burned up after a fire off Lower Lost Prairie Road Sunday morning. The reporting party said that the vehicle was still smoking. The owner of the vehicle was contacted; apparently he’d had an accident early in the morning.

There was a report of a 2004 Honda stolen from a Fox Farm Drive address.

There was a report of two women getting in an argument over dogs on Harmony Road in Evergreen.

A person calling from a bar on U.S. 2 in Coram reported that a man — who had been involved in a domestic dispute at the bar the night before — had been struck in the head with a baseball bat.

 A woman reported that up to six rodeo bulls from a neighbor’s property wandered onto her land. The bulls weren’t being aggressive, but she said they were a nuisance.

A women reported that her husband got into a confrontation with a man who’d been driving a vehicle too fast on West Bluegrass Drive, a situation that has apparently occurred before.

A bartender calling from Hungry Horse Boulevard reported that she had been confronted by a group of verbally abusive people in the bar.

The owner of a salvage yard on Hidden Trail reported that he had caught and detained three teenage boys who broke into his property. The boys were charged with criminal trespass and released to their parents.

There was a report regarding a suspicious man shouting that he is God and Jesus while standing along U.S. 2 in Evergreen. The man turned out to be intoxicated and eventually left the area on foot.

There was a report of an intoxicated man stealing a dog from a vehicle belonging to an employee at a bar on U.S. 2 in Marion.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday night regarding an intoxicated woman who had been kicked out of area bars assaulting her sister at a Seventh Avenue West address. The woman was arrested for partner/family member assault.

There was a report of a business on Eighth Avenue West North vandalized with graffiti. The perpetrator had to climb on the roof to do it.

There was a report Monday morning of a vehicle window vandalized on West Idaho Street.

There was a report of items stolen from a garage on West Nicklaus Avenue.

There was a report of a business vehicle keyed in a parking lot on South Main Street.

Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday from a woman who said her boyfriend admitted to striking her daughter at a residence on Martha Road. The matter is under investigation.
