Caller reports kids trying to break into shed

Shortly after midnight Sunday, a caller on North Main Street told the Kalispell Police Department that two kids in hooded sweatshirts were trying to break into one of the sheds behind a store. Police responded and a juvenile was returned to his mother.

A caller reported a man wearing a black leather jacket and jeans passed out on a bench on Airport Road.

At about 9 a.m. Sunday, a caller on Summit Ridge Drive told police that two males in a white Jeep Cherokee driving south on U.S. 93 broke out the window of a vehicle at a church and grabbed something from inside.

A caller on Seventh Avenue East reported tools taken from a tool box in the back of a pickup sometime in the last three weeks.

Sunday afternoon, a woman on First Avenue East North told police that nine to 10 vehicles were speeding through a parking lot and up and down the street.

A woman on Third Avenue East said she was punched in the face by her sister.

A man on U.S. 93 told police a five-shot revolver was stolen from his truck at a gas station.

Saturday evening, a motorist headed north on U.S. 93 reported kids on the side of the road throwing eggs at passing vehicles.

A caller on Appleway Drive reported a man for slashing two tires on a Ford Explorer.

After a caller on First Avenue West reported the Post Office was left wide open, police responded and secured the back door.

At about 1:36 a.m. Saturday, the Ronan Police Department responded to a simple assault at a bar.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff's Office responded to a partner-family-member assault with minor injury reported on White Tail Street early Saturday morning.
