Pickup missing wheels, rims after mechanic jailed

A woman calling the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from U.S. 2 East in Evergreen Sunday reported that she recently had given her truck to a man to do some work on it, but after he got arrested and was put in jail, she found the vehicle with all the wheels and rims missing. The man is still in jail.

During a traffic stop Sunday, a woman reported that she had been assaulted by a man in her vehicle while driving sometime Saturday night.

There was verbal disturbance report on Ridgewood Drive involving a man, who was possibly intoxicated, getting upset after his girlfriend attempted to kick him out of a residence.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday afternoon regarding a man who fell off a bar stool at an establishment on Airport Road. The man was unconscious but breathing, and when help arrived, he refused medical attention.

There was a report of two men in a truck driving around the north side of Kalispell shooting out the windows with some type of weapon. They were apprehended in a parking lot; it turned out they had been shooting Airsoft guns.

Early Monday, at about 1 a.m., there was a report of a woman with red hair and tattoos stealing gas from a business on First Avenue East on the south side of Kalispell. After taking the gas, the woman left with a man on foot, and became they became the subjects of a search in the area.

There was a report of a bicycle stolen sometime Sunday night from a truck that was parked on Seventh Avenue East.

There was a report of a somebody turning on an outside water faucet at a business on Parkway Drive, with the water flowing for hours and flooding lower offices at the business.

Whitefish Police got a report of a theft on Flathead Avenue Sunday. There was also theft report on East Second Street.
