Bullet fired into neighbor's apartment

The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a resident of an apartment on Two Mile Drive who said that a pistol was fired in a neighboring apartment and the bullet came through her door.

Two students at a high school on Wolfpack Way were arrested on the school property on drug charges.

An unlocked garage was reported burglarized on Yellowstone Street. The burglar stole a purse from a vehicle inside the garage.

It was reported that two unlocked vehicles on U.S. 93 South were burglarized, although nothing was reported missing.

A drill set was reported stolen from a store on Third Avenue East.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a letter addressed to an inmate that, when opened, was found to contain a white powder. The letter was sealed and placed in evidence.

It was reported that drug deals have been taking place behind the Ferndale Fire Hall in Bigfork. Drug paraphernalia has been found on a regular basis on the ground behind the hall.

A Smith & Wesson bolt-action rifle was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Woodland Park Drive in Kalispell.

A man reported he left a revolver in the bed of his truck before leaving his home, and asked that an officer go to his residence to see if he could locate the gun, which he said he thought might be in his driveway on Armory Road in Whitefish. Officers were unable to find the gun.

It was reported that someone cut a fence to gain access to storage units on Egan Slough Road in Creston and then broke into one of the storage units.

Three checkers at a grocery store on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell found someone had rifled through their vehicles when they left work, the second time in the last two months. The caller requested an extra patrol in the area.

A woman reported her wallet was stolen from her vehicle on Ashley Lake Road west of Kalispell.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of assault on East Eighth Street.
