William G. Lawler Sr., 88

William G. Lawler Sr., 88, passed away at his home Nov. 15, 2011, in Trego.

Bill was born Oct. 25, 1923, in Chicago.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later met and married the love of his life, Lorraine C. Price, in Chicago at St. Leo Catholic Church on Jan. 4, 1947.

They retired to the Big Sky Country of Trego in 1986, were he lived his life-long dream of country life.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine Lawler; his five children, William Jr. and Sandra, Larry, Lynn and Robert, Dan and Lisa, and Steve and Tammy; and seven grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Eureka. A private family service will be conducted at a later date.
