Man turns himself in to deputies on warrant

Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on an active warrant who notified police he wanted to turn himself in. He was apprehended on Montana 35 in Evergreen.

A person reported several people were trying to break into their neighbor’s house on South Woodland Drive in Kalispell. They left in a white two-door passenger car.

It was reported that a woman was seen prone on a sidewalk on East Evergreen Drive in Evergreen with a man straddling her. Deputies were unable to locate the pair.

It was reported that a man pulled up next to several children walking home from a school on Talbot Road in a van and asked if they needed a ride.

A 1999 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 was reported stolen from Trumble Creek Road.

A man reported he caught someone trying to siphon gas from his vehicle on Kintla Way in Kalispell. A tube, siphoning pump and gas container were left by his vehicle.

A vehicle was reported vandalized on U.S. 2 West in Columbia Falls.

A handgun was reported missing from a home on Pleasant Valley Road in Marion.

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on Somers Road in Somers.

An Illinois license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle on Adams Street in Lakeside.

A backpack was reported stolen from a vehicle on Houston Drive in Whitefish.

A vehicle was reported burglarized on Trumble Creek Road in Evergreen.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested a man on preliminary charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and criminal contempt after responding to a verbal disturbance on Second Avenue West. It had been reported that the arrested man, accompanied by another man, was screaming about scriptures and profanities. The second man was advised of an active warrant, which he told officers he would take care of the following day.

Officers also arrested a man on a warrant after responding to a report that he was at a hotel on U.S. 93 south to sell drugs to someone.

Several items were reported stolen from a house and garage on Santa Fe Street.

A man who came inside the police department was arrested on an active warrant.

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on Third Avenue West.

A purse was reported stolen from inside the casino area of a business on U.S. 93 South.

The manager of a business on Third Avenue East North reported he had a security video of one employee stealing from another employee.

License plates were reported stolen from a vehicle on Cedar Commons Lane.

A vehicle was reported burglarized on Crestview Road.

The Polson Police Department received a report of vehicle parts and accessories on 15th Avenue East.
