Biker leads cops on chase Friday

Columbia Falls Police officers were led on a chase Friday after a man on a motorcycle with no lights on fled from one cruiser on 15th Street East. The suspect, who was identified by a local bartender, has a history of resisting arrest, obstructing officers and being disorderly.

The Kalispell Police Department responded to a business on North Main Street, where a person reported an angry man in the lobby punched out a window before leaving. Officers later located and arrested the man.

A woman reported another woman threw her up against a wall and tried to hit her while she was having dinner at a location on Fourth Street West.

It was reported that a window was broken out of a vehicle in a parking lot on Sunny View Lane.

A vehicle on First Avenue East North reportedly was rifled through and the key taken from the ignition.

A gold watch and diamond ring were reported stolen from a residence on Sixth Avenue East.

Several units at a building on Third Avenue East were reportedly broken into.

A wallet was reported stolen on Sixth Street West.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of assault on U.S. 2 West in Kalispell.

A vehicle was reported stolen from East Edgewood Drive in Whitefish.

Burglaries were reported on Blaine View Lane and Welf Lane in Kalispell.

Thefts were reported on Foys Lake Road, Airport Road and U.S. 2 East in Kalispell.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a person for allegedly making threats and exerting an improper influence after responding to a report of suspicious activity on Montana 83.

A driver was cited for possession of dangerous drugs after being pulled over on Old Highway 93.

Vandalism was reported at KwaTaqNuk Resort.

A theft was reported from a vehicle on Sparrow Lane.

A shoplifter was reported at a supermarket in Polson.

A theft was reported on Sixth Avenue East.

Officers with the Whitefish Police Department arrested a person on a charge of disorderly conduct on U.S. 93 West.

The department received a report of criminal mischief on Wisconsin Avenue.
