Read for the Record

| October 6, 2011 3:09 PM

Sue Rolfing of the Great Northern Ranch reads Llama, Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney to kindergarden students on Thursday afternoon at Peterson Elementary as part of their Read for the Record program which focuses on the importance of early education. In addition to reading the book Sue and her husband Steve Rolfing brought Audacity, an 18 month old Llama from their ranch for the students to see. In September Kalispell Public Schools announced that it would take part in Jumpstart's Read for the Record. Children and adults across the nation are reading this book and trying to set two new records; largest shared reading experience and largest digital reading experience.
