Ex-girlfriend accused of assault with bat

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a Kalispell man on Shady Lane that his son was hit in the face with a baseball bat by his ex-girlfriend. Deputies were unable to locate the girl.

Deputies separated a mother and grandmother who were fist-fighting on Gunsite Loop in Kalispell. According to the report, the mother also threw the grandmother to the ground.

A person reported that an injured woman was dropped off at a business on Montana 35 in Kalispell. The woman said she was walking after an argument with her boyfriend when a man drove up to her and asked if she wanted a ride. He then physically assaulted her.

A mailbox on Lone Cedar Lane in Columbia Falls reportedly was damaged.

Fishing poles, a tackle box, a wallet and other items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Northwoods Drive in Whitefish.

Homemade goods and $300 were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Shady Glen Drive in Kalispell, where a garbage can was also reported stolen.

An iPod, sunglasses, a wallet, $100 and a cellphone were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Sapphire Court in Whitefish.

A GPS and a thumb drive were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Highland Drive in Whitefish. A flashlight possibly belonging to the thief was left in the vehicle.

A wallet holding a Social Security card and $700 in cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Airport Road in Kalispell.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department responded to a man threatening to kill people at a bar on Woodland Park Drive. An employee reported the man threw a beer bottle at someone and was trying to fight people but was restrained by his brother.

An employee of a business on Third Avenue East North was arrested for allegedly stealing from the company.

A resident of Fifth Avenue East reported his truck was egged and his wife’s windshield was shattered.

A man was cited and released after being caught attempting to shoplift from a business on U.S. 93 South. The same thing happened to a woman caught attempting to shoplift from a business on U.S. 93 North.

A GPS and case were reported stolen from a vehicle on Northridge Drive.

A bicycle was reported stolen from in front of a garage on Merganser Drive.

A backpack was reported stolen from a vehicle on Third Avenue East North.

A television was reported stolen from an apartment on Fifth Avenue East.

A cellphone was reported stolen from a home on Third Avenue West.

A hammock was reported stolen from a home on Fifth Street West.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of theft on Birch Drive.

A theft was reported on Waverly Place.

A theft was reported on U.S. 93 South.

A theft was reported on Wisconsin Avenue.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft on Cowboy Way.

A theft was reported on Fifth Avenue.
