Man at accident scene appeared drunk

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man standing on the side of Montana 83 in Bigfork covered in blood early Tuesday morning. Deputies responded and located a man who appeared to be drunk and a vehicle in the trees off the highway. The man was transported to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment.

It was reported late Monday evening that three men were carrying items out of a storage unit on U.S. 93 South in Kalispell and over a fence on one side to a truck. Deputies located the men and discovered one of them was trying to empty his storage unit after hours, possibly because he was behind on payment and had been locked out. He was advised to return during business hours.

A person reported hearing 10 shots being fired from what sounded like a rifle north of his property on Old Highway 2 East in Martin City.

A Kalispell resident on Moon Bow Loop reported hunters shooting without permission to the south of his home.

A digital video recording system used for security was reported stolen from a business on Conrad Drive in Kalispell.

A wallet was reported stolen from Shady Lane in Kalispell.

It was reported that a person cut a hole in the fence of a home on Cooperative Way in Kalispell, rummaged through vehicles and stole several fishing poles.

A mailbox was reported damaged on Ferndale Drive in Bigfork.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested three boys late Monday night after trying to catch up with a group of people driving around town breaking windows of vehicles and searching them. The vehicle in question was reported running stop signs and passengers were throwing things out of the windows. The next day, a person reported that a boy told him he had been involved in breaking car windows the night before. The boy told the caller that he had returned to school because “they can’t prove I did it.” The caller then told him, “Well you just told me you did it.” The caller reported the boy then left the school.

A man was arrested after officers responded to a report of a man stealing tools from an office on West Idaho Street.

Officers with the Polson Police Department arrested a person on a charge of obstructing a peace officer after responding to a report of disorderly conduct on Hillcrest Drive.

A theft from a vehicle was reported on 10th Avenue East.

A theft from a vehicle was reported on 11th Avenue East.

A theft from a vehicle was reported on Main Street.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that three children were trespassing at a vacant house on Nucleus Avenue.

Children were reported to be shooting paint balls at cars on Talbot Road.
