Patricia Ann Fellers, 61

| October 22, 2011 6:00 PM

Patricia Ann Fellers, 61, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 16, 2011, with her husband Ron and daughter Tracy by her side.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1950, in Ellensburg, Wash., to Earl and Betty Gordon. She attended Lourdes Academy from first grade through eighth grade. She attended Morgan Junior High for ninth grade and graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1968.

She met Ron Fellers in Ellensburg in 1971 and fell in love. They were married on Feb. 18, 1972. On July 25, 1972, Tracy Lee was born. The family stayed in Ellensburg until 1974, before moving to Spokane to work for the Sprouse Reitz Store. They transferred a couple more times to other Sprouse Reitz stores in Washington state before moving to the store in Hamilton.

They moved to Whitefish in 1985 and have made it “home” for 26 years. They operated the True-Value/Ben Franklin store in Whitefish until it closed in 2005. In 2007 Pat opened and managed the current Ben Franklin store in the Mountain Mall in Whitefish.

Besides working for the Sprouse Reitz stores, Pat was busy creating beautiful Native American ceramics and lots of homemade items for her family. She enjoyed being with family and friends and considered Ron and Tracy her world.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Earl Gordon.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Fellers; daughter, Tracy Fellers, of Whitefish; mother, Betty Gordon, of Ellensburg; sisters, Kathy and Lonnie Sala, of Ellensburg, and Mary and Rob LaPierre of Juneau, Alaska; brothers, Robert and Sheri Gordon of Wiley City, Wash., and John Martin and Janet Gordon, of Centralia, Wash; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Patricia leaves us with many wonderful and fond memories of her life!

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, in the chapel of Austin Funeral Home, 6200 U.S. Hwy. 93 South, Whitefish. Pat’s brother Robert will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Ron and Tracy would be appreciated.
