Caller reports 'hoodlums' in area

A caller on Third Avenue West told the Kalispell Police Department Monday morning that his vehicle had been egged. The man just wanted officers notified of the “hoodlums in the neighborhood.”

Someone found a purse at Second Avenue East and 11th Street East. It didn’t have much in it except papers and possibly a wrapper for a syringe.

A lost wallet was found and turned over to police.

Earlier Monday, someone reported a 25-year-old man on the grass in front of the probation building. The man said he took 8 ounces of Tussin and more of his bipolar medication than he was supposed to. He said he just wanted to feel an out-of-body experience.

Someone reported fuel stolen on Fourth Street West.

A man on Ninth Avenue West told police he was concerned for his 11-month-old son’s safety because his mother was screaming around him. He told police his son’s mother called him back and said, “Say, ‘Goodbye daddy; have fun paying child support.’” Police checked on the mother and son; both were fine.

Graffiti was reported at a school on Nevada Street. Someone spray-painted “brc” on a Dumpster.

A caller on Bountiful Drive complained about a transient living in the woods preaching about killing people with certain beliefs.

A car was egged on Fourth Street West.

Shortly after midnight, a caller driving on U.S. 93 said kids in a Subaru shot him with a blow dart.

Four men were reportedly breaking the windows out of a house on Syth Lane. One reportedly had an ax with him.

A boy was arrested Sunday night after someone reported him as an intoxicated driver.

Someone reported a couple punching each other in a four-door sedan. They were just playing around.

Earlier Sunday evening, a caller on North Main Street reported a vehicle going into the golf course. The caller said the vehicle honked every time he made a swing.

Two girls were picked up for shoplifting on First Avenue East North and turned over to their parents.

A caller on Smith Lake Road told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office he woke up Sunday morning to find his Buick Park Avenue missing and blood on a door and wall inside his house. The man also could not locate his roommate, who later showed up fine, just regretting the amount of alcohol he drank the night before.

Later Sunday morning, someone reported spray paint on a building on U.S. 2 east of Columbia Falls.

Four tires were reported stolen out of a pickup on Elk Street in Coram.

Someone on Lore Lake Road said a laptop was stolen during a party Saturday night.

A burglary was reported on Eight Avenue East North.

A customer found a pistol in the bathroom garbage can at a convenience store on Batavia Lane.

A table saw and other items were reported stolen out of a garage on Cayuse Lane.

Someone reported an extremely intoxicated man running around in his underwear with “a very large knife” on U.S. 2 east near Kalispell.

A man on Ridgewood Drive was concerned about his ex-girlfriend buying a gun and feuding with her neighbors.

Sunday evening, someone picking up trash on West Reserve Drive reported finding three suspicious pipes with caps on the ends. While the caller was waiting for a deputy, someone came out and picked up the items.

A woman on Parliament Drive said someone broke into her house and stole all her prescriptions. She suspects the thief is possibly her mom.

A woman on Bryce Lane said her 2-year-old daughter was possibly abused, with bruises on her leg after being with her father.

Someone egged a trailer on South Cedar Drive.

A woman on Conrad Drive said a neighbor took two kids to the store to get whipping cream for huffing.

A woman on Ridgewood Drive said she was assaulted by her neighbor Saturday night.

A caller on Depot Street in Whitefish found drugs and asked for a deputy to come pick them up.

A man on Seventh Street West told the Columbia Falls Police Department that he went out to his car Sunday morning and found the seat reclined with an unknown purse on it.

A man on Martha Road said a roommate he bought a TV from took it back. He wanted to know how to get the TV returned.
