Woman flown to hospital after crash

A woman was airlifted to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center early Friday evening after sustaining serious injuries in a rollover crash on U.S. 93 near Olney.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man repeatedly driving a blue Ford F-150 into his own mobile home on Gordon Avenue in Columbia Heights. The man reportedly rammed the home five times before leaving the scene. Deputies, as well as Montana Highway Patrol troopers and officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department, tracked the man down to his mother’s home in Columbia Falls.

A resident of East Evergreen Drive in Evergreen reported having just moved into a new trailer and seeing the woman against whom the caller had a restraining order standing at the driveway, staring at the trailer.

Someone spray-painted a building on U.S. 2 East in Columbia Falls and threw a rock through the front window.

A resident of Bernard Road in Evergreen reported being able to smell someone cooking meth in the trailer park.

A dog on Cougar Trail in Whitefish was attacked by another loose dog.

Approximately 20 gallons of gasoline were siphoned from a pickup truck on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls.

A 53-year-old man required stitches after being stabbed in the leg by his 43-year-old friend. According to Lt. Wade Radamacher with the Kalispell Police Department, the two men were very drunk and being driven around by their friend when they got in an argument and the younger man pulled out a knife, jamming it about a half inch into his friend’s leg. The driver then took the victim to Kalispell Regional Medical Center and called police before driving the suspect to the police station. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Flathead County Detention Center on a preliminary charge of assault with a weapon.

A man was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation after he was reported speaking loudly and pacing back and forth on the sidewalk in front of an apartment building on Two Mile Drive, saying he was going to burn it down.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence on East Idaho Street after rear-ending a vehicle in the drive-through lane of a restaurant.
