Small boy wanders from home in pajamas

An Evergreen resident called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after a 3- or 4-year-old boy showed up on their doorstep in footie pajamas with a pacifier in his mouth. Shortly after, the boy’s mother called the sheriff’s office to report him missing. His parents said he was supposed to be in bed, but managed to get the door unlocked and get out, and that it had never happened before. They promised they would now keep a closer eye on him.

A concerned and very observant Bigfork resident called to report vehicles and pedestrians coming and going from his neighbor’s home. He gave dispatch more than 20 license plates and descriptions of numerous pedestrians to investigate.

A Kalispell woman reported that her neighbor came across the street, drunk, and slapped her in the face.

An employee of a U.S. 2 East business in Kalispell reported a man they saw with a beer in his hand, moaning and groaning, looking drunk. The man was talking to himself and then drove away.

A prospective renter attempted to scam a Columbia Falls landlord by sending him a bad check and then claiming he or she had overpaid and asking for a refund.

A Kalispell resident received a phone call stating he wrote a bad check a couple years ago and had to pay $3,000 now or be charged with a felony. The resident was counseled and told to ignore the call, which was believed to be a scam.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a man trying to sell movies illegally on North Main Street. He was riding a bicycle and had a brown dog with him.

The tires and wheels were stolen off a vehicle in a car lot on East Idaho Street.

Officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department arrested a 16-year-old girl after she ran away from her 11th Avenue home.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigated a burglary on West Swan Shores Road in Ferndale.

The Polson Police Department received a report of a theft from a vehicle at a bank.
