Kalispell burglary suspect sought

Kalispell police are searching for a woman allegedly involved in a Tuesday evening burglary at a home on Buffalo Hill Drive near Buffalo Hill Golf Course.

According to a news release from the Kalispell Police Department, Mandi Anderson, 25, and her boyfriend, Derrick Jackson, 26, of Kalispell, manipulated a lock on a window at the home of Anderson’s uncle and got inside at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

A caretaker heard voices and investigated, seeing Anderson and hearing another voice believed to be Jackson’s. The caretaker then went to another room and called police since neither Anderson nor Jackson had permission to be in the residence.

By the time officers arrived, the two were gone. After a brief search, Jackson was found along with Erin Littleeagle, 30, of Columbia Falls. Detective Chad Zimmerman said they were determined to have been involved both by their statements and by items they had in their possession.

Jackson and Littleeagle were arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and transported to the Kalispell Police Department for processing and further questioning before they were moved to the Flathead County Detention Center.

Both reportedly told police that Anderson also had been involved, and personal items belonging to Anderson were found at the scene.

“Anderson is currently transient and on the run,” Zimmerman said. “Her family doesn’t know where she’s at and they’ve been looking for her for a while. At this point, outside information about where she is is going to be way better than what I’ve got.”
