WHITEFISH — The win by Mackenzie Thomas at No. 3 singles gave Whitefish a 4-3 dual triumph over Bigfork in tennis on Friday afternoon.

Whitefish also won all three doubles matches.

“No. 3 (singles) was the deciding match,” Whitefish coach Patrick Dryden said.

“Thomas was behind 5-3, but rallied to win the first set 7-5.

“A really good athlete,” Dryden said of Thomas.

“She hustled for every ball, kept everything in play and really served well.”

It was the second dual win in two days for WHS.

“We’re juggling the singles lineup,” Dryden said.

“The doubles are coming together.”
