Nobody lay a finger on his TV dinner

A bad situation escalated quickly when a Blue Crest Drive resident reported to the Kalispell Police Department that he had loaded his gun and was ready to use it, because he was concerned about his two freezers. He told police his ex-wife and her boyfriend had recently stolen items from him and that he believed they were close by. The man agreed to put the gun away when officers asked him to. Officers at the scene found no one had entered the home and nothing was taken.

A 10-year-old boy said he was threatened by a black man wearing a bandana around his face near a hotel on North Main Street. The man yelled at the boy and his friend to come over to him, because he wanted to beat them up. The boy hid underneath a car while waiting for his father.

A social work agency on South Main Street reported a transient came in and used a computer under the pretense of searching for housing and published materials talking about deaths and murder.

A man wearing a yellow reflector jacket was told to remain on the sidewalk and off private property, and also to stop his activities at dark after he was reported for using a bullhorn to preach about God on Third Avenue East North.

A Two Mile Drive resident told police his neighbors were using his outside outlet to steal electricity from him.

A truck pulled up next to a house on 10th Avenue West, and a man jumped out and pointed a rifle at the house. It is believed those in the pickup were teenagers and that the rifle was actually a pellet gun.

A motorist was cited for not having insurance and driving with a suspended license when officers investigated a report of a fight on Whitefish Stage Road.

Someone broke a window out of a vehicle on West California Street after shooting at it with a BB gun. The vehicle’s owner believed it was done by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

Three vehicles were shot with BB guns on Second Avenue West North.

Graffiti was reported on a garage on Fifth Avenue West.

An approximately 30-year-old man was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for stealing a purse in Shelby and using a credit card from that theft at several gas stations while traveling west through Montana. The most recent stop was in Cut Bank. The man was described as wearing a Zooyork hat and an Independent sweatshirt. He was traveling with a woman with long black hair wearing a blue “Goonies Forever” shirt and dark pants with white shoes, and carrying a black jacket with neon green lettering.

An 18-year-old boy assaulted his 17-year-old sister on Helena Flats Road. His sister said he threatened to use a machete against her and also said he would use it to kill cops if she called them. She believed he was on drugs, possibly cocaine.

A Columbia Falls woman complained that her neighbor’s goats constantly get in her yard and eat her trees and shrubs.

A clerk at a U.S. 2 East store allowed a man to leave without paying for $20.99 worth of beer after he promised to come back and pay. The man broke his promise.

An upset Columbia Falls Stage Road resident reported a vehicle wheel fell off after the tires had been rotated.

A Kalispell man said he did $30,000 worth of work on a vehicle and the owner took it Thursday without paying.

An officer was requested at a train depot for a 29-year-old man possibly carrying drugs.

A man drove away from a gas station on U.S. 2 East in Coram without paying for $92 worth of gasoline.

Four buildings and a home were burglarized on Idaho Hill Road in Marion.

Someone ran over a gate post and mailbox on Sunnybrook Lane in Somers.

Several titles were reported stolen from a home on Autumn Court in Kalispell.

Someone tried to siphon gas from a vehicle on West Reserve Drive in Kalispell.

A theft was reported on West Reserve Drive in Kalispell.

Officers with the Polson Police Department arrested a person on a parole violation.

Officers with the Ronan Police Department investigated a report of animal abuse or neglect on First Avenue South East.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report of theft on 12th Avenue West.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of theft on Wisconsin Avenue.
