Logan Alan Ostrom, 52

Logan Alan Ostrom, 52, passed away April 20, 2012, from complications of influenza at the Lake View Care Center in Bigfork.  

He was born to L. Ritchey and Norma (Bell) Ostrom on August 7, 1959, in Spokane.

Logan grew up in Kalispell and spent as much time as possible skiing at Big Mountain and riding motorcycles around the valley. He adored his children and they were his light the past years of his life.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ritchey and Norma; and sister, Lori Ostrom Judge.

He is survived by his son, Logan and Christina Ostrom, and grandson Jay, all of Kalispell; daughter, Rebecca Ostrom of Portland; his ex-wife, Jeannine Lund; sisters, Cory Chadwick of Bigfork, and Lisa McElrath of Houston; Uncle George and Iris Ostrom; John and Marian Bell Emerson; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 23 at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home, 525 Main Street in Kalispell.

The family suggests memorials to the Flathead Food Bank, 1203 U.S. 2 West, No. 2, Kalispell, MT 59901.
