Sharon Olson, 74

Sharon Olson of Libby passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane on Friday, April 20, 2012.

She was born July 31, 1937, in Lewistown to Donald and Melba Peterson.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, art and homemaking.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Olson, in 2006.

Sharon is survived by her children, Teri and Dave Davis of Big Piney, Wyo., Donald Olson of Miles City, Charlie and Tammy Olson of Cut Bank, Gene and Tara Olson of Parachute, Colo., and Katrina and Gerald Getz of Libby; grandchildren, Corey and Kevin Smith, Samantha, Chance, Kale and Stacia Olson, Tristen and Logan Olson, and Marcel and Colton Getz; great-grandchildren, Tia and Tabby Smith; sister, Sheila, and Ron Gilbert; brother, Meldon Peterson; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be an informal gathering for family and friends of Sharon at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Fireman’s Park in Libby. Please join our family in sharing photos and memories.
