Roof skaters scram when spotted

A caller told the Kalispell Police Department that two kids were skateboarding on Glacier High School’s roof Sunday evening. When the kids were spotted, they took off running off the back side of the roof, the caller said.

An officer made contact with three skateboarders at the high school. They were not on the roof, but were counseled and sent on their way.

Someone reported a burglary on Empire Loop with jewelry missing.

A caller said medications were stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at a store.

A woman called officers about her niece’s drug habit; the niece in turn told police her aunt is not wanted at the house.

A woman on Second Avenue East North said her car was egged. She had information on who did it.

Officers responded to an argument on Ninth Street East and arrested a man for partner/family member assault early Monday morning.

A billboard on U.S. 2 West was damaged.

Someone on Fourth Avenue West said a dog was shot with a BB gun Sunday night.

A woman on Third Avenue East told police she was getting harassing calls and text messages from a woman accusing her of egging a car.

A caller in Martin City told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that he returned home Sunday afternoon to find the home burglarized. Guns and a vehicle were reported missing.

Earlier Sunday, a woman on Mountain View Drive reported getting threats from her ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend.

A caller on Whispering Rock Road reported ongoing problems with someone breaking into a home.

A Lakeside man said he got a text message from a woman threatening his family.

The back door to a business on Welf Lane was kicked in with several items missing.

A Sunday evening caller on Swan Way said someone broke into his apartment and the bar upstairs.

Four tires and two wheels were stolen from a yard on Columbia Meadows Drive.

A man was arrested on outstanding warrants after someone reported him for being drunk and standing in the street on Shady Lane.

Someone was arrested on outstanding warrants at a business on U.S. 2 East.

A McGregor Lane caller said someone keeps using a private driveway illegally. The culprit is possibly a state-owned vehicle.

A burglary was reported on Smith Lake Road. Nothing was taken, but bottles of chocolate syrup and toothpaste were squirted everywhere.

A man was arrested Early Monday on La Brant Road for a probation violation.

A shoplifter was reported at a business on U.S. 2 East.

Whitefish Police officers arrested someone Sunday evening after responding to a fight on Baker Avenue.

A 4-year-old boy was taken to North Valley Hospital after falling off a slide and landing on his head Sunday afternoon. Officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department assisted on the scene.

Montana Highway Patrol responded to a tractor rollover Sunday evening at Hillside Road and McDonald Lake Road in Lake County east of Charlo. The person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
