<p>Brad Ludden takes off from the Lutheran Bible Camp for the second leg of the Epic Shore to Shore Race on Saturday, August 4, in south of Lakeside. Ludden's father, Chuck Ludden paddled the first leg of the race. The Epic 24 mile race began at Camp Marshall in Rollins at 8 a.m. The race benefits First Descents, an organization that provides young adult cancer fighters and survivors a free outdoor adventure experience. First Descents was created by Brad Ludden.</p>
