Obnoxious boater harasses family

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a man on Bitterroot Lake who said he and his family were being harassed by an obnoxious man on another boat.

A Maple Drive resident reported finding a dead dog on his deck that did not belong to him.

There was a report of vandals flattening reflectors on a bike path along U.S. 2 in Hungry Horse.

Someone calling from U.S. 93 South of Whitefish reported the theft of a propeller from a boat.

A woman called from West Evergreen Drive to report that her boyfriend stole her food stamp card.

A woman called from a South Cedar Drive address to report that unknown people had moved into a trailer on her property and were refusing to leave. After a deputy visit, the people left the trailer.

After a hit-and-run incident on the South Fork Road in Martin City, a man driving a truck with boat in tow was stopped and arrested for drunk driving.

A clerk calling from a gas station on U.S. 2 in the Evergreen area reported that a person in a large, white work truck carrying fuel tanks drove off with $900 worth of gasoline.

After a woman reported that her boyfriend threw her down at U.2. 2 address in Evergreen, the man was arrested for partner-family member assault.

A person calling from North Valley Hospital in Whitefish reported that an intoxicated man walked out of the emergency room and drove off with an IV in his arm. He could not be located.

A man calling from an address on U.S. 93 South of Kalispell reported that he is afraid of his girlfriend, and he wanted assistance when she moves out.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday regarding the theft of a fire pit from a backyard on First Avenue East.

A man calling from an East Idaho address said another man threatened to kill him. That resulted in the suspect, who had been drinking, being taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

A Denver Avenue resident reported that she caught a couple attempting to steal a sign out of her yard, and when she yelled at them, they ran. The two had a baby stroller filled with items that the reporting party suspected may have been stolen. It was later reported that another Denver Avenue resident had a solar light stolen out of a planter.

There was a report of a car being spray-painted near a restaurant on First Avenue West.

There was a report of an intoxicated man looking into vehicles on South Meridian Road. The man was later advised to stay away from a nearby casino.

Early Monday, at about 1:15 a.m., there was a report of a woman driving erratically on U.S. 93 North. The woman was later stopped and arrested for drunk driving.

A woman calling from an Eighth Avenue East North address reported that her fiance took her vehicle without permission. He was later located, and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

There was a report of a side mirror knocked off a car on Hawthorn Avenue. A similar report later came from a residence on Bluestone Drive.

There was a report of graffiti left on a school building on Fourth Avenue West.

There was a report of a vehicle vandalized some time over the weekend at a Blue Crest Drive residence.

A woman called Columbia Falls Police from an A Street address to report that her husband had been abusing her.
