Missing items turn up in cars at Lawrence Park

Saturday afternoon, two people at Lawrence Park told the Kalispell Police Department that they returned to their vehicles to find other people’s stuff in them.

One caller reported finding a bag of computers. Another reported finding a backpack in the bed of his truck. Police collected the items.

Another man who later told police his laptop was stolen from his vehicle at Lawrence Park was reunited with the property.

Two people were taken to the hospital after a wreck on U.S. 93.

A Glenwood Drive woman told police she read on Facebook about another woman opening a can of beer and giving it to a 1-year-old child. The caller told police a friend saw the incident and said the woman does it all the time.

A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on U.S. 93.

Saturday evening, an officer confronted two men urinating on First Avenue East. An arrest was made.

Officers arrested someone after responding to a physical disturbance on Sixth Avenue East North.

Someone reported an underage drinking party on West Arizona Street.

A drunk man was cited and told to stay out of the roadway after a woman told police that she almost hit the man with her vehicle on Grandview Drive.

A woman told police she wants to pursue statutory rape charges against someone.

Saturday night, a vehicle was shot with an orange paint ball on West Idaho Street.

Someone stole a diamond plate toolbox out of a truck parked on Second Avenue East.

A pharmacist on West Idaho Street reported a man in the cough and cold section who said he was trying to find something that would kill him. The man stormed out of the store without buying or stealing anything.

Early Sunday, a woman was arrested on East Evergreen Drive for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order.

People reported seeing a moose on Teal Drive, Parkridge Drive and Northridge Drive.

A Canvasback Court woman said she woke up to find items taken from her yard.

A woman on North Meridian Road told police her pit bull bit her 2-year-old daughter in the face. The woman said she would take the dog to the animal shelter after taking her child to the hospital.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested someone for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol early Saturday morning on Highway 35.

Saturday morning, Polson police arrested someone for driving under the influence on U.S. 93.

Someone with outstanding warrants was arrested for criminal contempt at Riverside Park later that night.
