Masked man steals casino's booze

Kalispell Police officers, along with other law enforcement, responded to a casino on U.S. 93 South after a man wearing a purple T-shirt, sweatpants and a ski mask ran in, grabbed alcohol and ran back out. The man did not display any weapons or assault anyone. He was later reported running into the north end of a hotel on U.S. 93 South.

A mother and father were counseled by officers after several toddlers, all children of the couple, were reported playing in the road on Looking Glass Avenue.

A man made threats against officers and their families and said he would be doing something about it the next day when he was released after the officers responded to a fight outside a bar on U.S. 93 South. One person involved in the fight was transported to the hospital.

An incident of child neglect was reported after a child believed to be 4 or 5 years old was found naked and alone in a hotel on U.S. 93 South. The child was given a large T-shirt to wear, but the parents could not be immediately located.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence after driving his pickup truck through the gate of Buffalo Hill Golf Course.

An employee of a U.S. 2 West business was arrested after showing up at work. Officers were requested to meet her after it was determined she had stolen $100 from the business.

A man on a loudspeaker was reportedly causing trouble near the intersection of First Avenue East and Third Street East as people were leaving the fair.

A motorist was arrested during a traffic stop on Woodland Avenue.

A cellphone was stolen on East Idaho Street.

A bicycle and bicycle rack were stolen off a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East.

A mountain bicycle was stolen from a bar on Airport Road.

An elderly woman on Marquardt Lane contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after received a phone call asking to speak with her husband shortly after midnight Friday. She told the woman on the other end of the line that her husband was asleep, and the woman said she had been sleeping with the resident’s husband. The resident than advised the woman that her husband was 84 years old and wasn’t sleeping with anyone.

A vehicle was stuck in the middle of Seventh Street West in Hungry Horse after a youth kicked the shifter while he was drunk, and then took off running when the car’s owner called 911.

A man and a woman were arrested after a fight on West Valley Drive in which the man backed into a woman’s garage, then got out and threw the woman on the ground before leaving. He was reportedly mad that the woman hadn’t let him sleep at her house the previous night when he was drunk.

A man was arrested after a verbal disturbance was reported on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

Deputies arrested two men on warrants on North Meridian Road.

Two llamas were seen walking down Browns Meadow Road in Kila.

A Columbia Falls man reported another trucking company stole money out of his account.

An assault was reported on Country Way Court.

Someone broke into a U.S. 2 East business in Kalispell and stole money from a cash register and the clip from a gun.

A home on First Avenue South in Martin City was burglarized, and several items were taken.

A wallet was stolen on U.S. 2 West in Columbia Falls.

Montana Department of Transportation workers responded to the intersection of Montana 35 and U.S. 93 after a grain truck rolled over shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday, dumping all over the road. The spill was cleared by 1:30 p.m.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report of a man on a longboard disturbing the peace, screaming at people on 13th Street West.

A Martha Road resident drew some unwelcome attention when several people gathered in front of his apartment, accusing him of taking their cat. A walk-through of the apartment by officers showed he did not have the animal.

Whitefish Police officers arrested a person during a traffic stop on U.S. 93 South.

A theft was reported on Shiloh Avenue.

Ronan Police officers arrested a person for refusing to complete field sobriety testing while investigating a report of suspicious activity on Fourth Avenue South East.

The Polson Police Department received a report of a burglary at an apartment on 10th Avenue East.

Officers discovered an assault while investigating a report of disorderly conduct. A report of theft also came from that location.
