Taylor Kenneth Saucier, 23

Taylor Kenneth Saucier, 23, passed away Aug. 11, 2012,  in Williston, N.D.

He was born to Michael “Buffalo” and Starla Saucier Sept. 26, 1988, in Carmichael, Calif.

Taylor relocated to Montana with his mom and dad in his senior year of high school and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2007.

Taylor loved Montana, snowmobiling with his dad, hiking with his dog, “Bear” and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and music enthusiast. His passion, however, was being involved with the SCA, Society for Creative Anachronism, which is medieval re-creation. He loved constructing his own suit of armor, swords and shields to play in SCA events.

Taylor previously worked at Pizza Hut in Columbia Falls, The Montana Rifle Company, TeleTech, working the summer of 2011 in Williston, Montana Rifleman, and was currently in Williston working for Montana Midwest.

Taylor is survived by his parents, Buffalo and Starla; brother, Michael Saucier II and his wife, Zhanna, of Martinez, Calif.; his sister, Vanessa and husband, David Karell, of Elk Grove, Calif.; as well as his grandfather, Kenneth Pruett. Taylor has a large family and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

A memorial service will be held for Taylor at 3 p.m. today, Aug. 18 at his Grandpa Ken’s house, 74 Windy Ridge, in Columbia Heights.
