Undressed swimmers reported

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of three topless women, a pair of nude children and a dressed man in the swimming area across from the entrance to Lone Pine State Park. By the time deputies arrived, the women were fully clothed and they were in the process of dressing the children.

A U.S. 93 South resident in Whitefish reported he had returned home to find his house trashed and ransacked, with a hole in a bedroom window screen where the burglar may have entered. The man said many items were missing, including a gun.

A youth ran into a business on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell, grabbed two 18-packs of beer and ran out, dropping all but two beers during his escape.

A woman reported she found pieces of a statue she had heard reported as stolen.

A woman captured a black Labrador retriever in her front yard on Kings Way that she said has killed her chickens in the past.

Kalispell Police Department officers responded to a report of a man following an 11-year-old girl on Second Street West that turned out to be a man playing hide-and-seek with his son.

A woman was reported sleepwalking and running into things on Liberty Street. She woke up and went back inside her apartment.

A drunk man standing on a Second Street West porch was run off by a dog.

A North Meridian Road woman reported her 14-year-old daughter was jumped at the fairgrounds.

A person renting a laptop pawned it after their contract was up.

Columbia Falls Police Department officers responded to a burglary alarm at a building on Railroad Street and discovered signs that someone had tried to break in.

A phone was stolen on Ninth Street West.

The Polson Police Department received a report of theft on Fourth Street East.
