Man reports being robbed at knifepoint

The Kalispell Police Department is still looking for a man who robbed another man at knifepoint in the entryway to a bar on the south side of town.

The victim reported the man shoved him into a room and took his money, medication and his .22-caliber Derringer handgun at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The robber was described as wearing dark blue jeans with rolled-up cuffs, dirty brown work boots and brown gloves and was carrying a flashlight.

A foster parent reported the family’s 16-year-old foster daughter was at a friend’s house when an older teenage boy tried to rip her clothes off. The boy had reportedly been arrested once in the past during another disturbance.

The parent of a 7-year-old girl reported that two older boys tried to handcuff her and run her over with their bicycles at a playground on Fourth Avenue East.

A man reported his father-in-law posted a picture on Facebook of a shotgun shell with his name on it. He was advised how to file for a restraining order.

A group of three teenage boys and a teenage girl were reported trying to break into cars in a parking lot on First Avenue East.

Someone damaged machinery on United Drive to the point that it became inoperable.

A Fifth Avenue West North resident reported someone shot his house with paintballs and had strewn toilet paper all over his yard.

A bicycle was stolen from the front yard of a home on Eighth Avenue West.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies counseled a man and woman after the man reportedly sent the woman a series of threatening messages, including that he would kill her, her family and himself. The man claimed to be her ex-boyfriend and that they had just broken up. The woman claimed that not only did they never date, but that she had never even met him before. Both were advised not to communicate with one another and were told how to seek a restraining order if it became necessary.

A youth on Pinnacle Road stole a key to the neighboring house while it was being house-sat and threw a party inside, leaving a huge mess. Only alcohol was reported missing from the house.

A man was arrested after his wife reported him for being passed out from drinking shortly after he was released from jail. The man was on probation and not supposed to be drinking alcohol.

A 14-year-old started a fire in a First Street home in Kila while playing with a lighter. The boy’s family was able to put it out.

A boy dressed all in white jumped in front of a vehicle on U.S. 2, then took off running.

Someone stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell, but threw it from the window of their own vehicle while driving away.

A man was arrested for drunk driving on U.S. 2 West in Columbia Falls.

Several youths were reported throwing rocks at chickens on South Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls.

A Mountain Drive resident in Hungry Horse reported someone burned her grass on purpose. A deputy believed it may have been caused by a lit cigarette thrown from a vehicle.

The door to a home on Trillium Way was damaged during a fight.

A bracelet was stolen on Lake Hills Drive in Bigfork.

Columbia Falls Police Department officers advised a group of youths to move along after they were reported standing in a baseball field talking about starting a party.

A resident complained about the closing crowd at a Nucleus Avenue bar, who were yelling, cursing and squealing their tires.

Whitefish Police Department officers arrested a person after responding to a fight on Central Avenue.

Criminal mischief was reported on Baker Avenue and Martha Road.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated an assault on Squeque Lane.
