| August 29, 2012 8:00 PM

The Montana Arts Council has invited Kris A. Kramer to exhibit her work in the Montana booth at the 20th annual Exhibit and Sale at the Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyo., Sept. 7-9.

The one-of-a-kind showcase for museum-quality art features the nation’s finest Western-influenced designers and artists and attracts collectors, interior designers, architects and fashion designers.

Kramer was one of 30 Montana artists chosen to exhibit her work. She is a certified Precious Metal Clay artisan by the Precious Metal Clay Guild and RioGrande. She makes pure silver, minuscule sculptures worn as pendants, earrings and charms.

Her pieces contain as much recycled silver as possible, and each creation is embellished with a virgin shine, an elegant satin and a patina dark inlay.

She sculpts daily in her studio on the north side of Whitefish and holds monthly classes at the Stumptown Art Studio in Whitefish.
