Reckless teenagers ignore warning

A Flathead County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle full of teenagers reportedly driving recklessly. After the deputy counseled them and departed, the teens again took off recklessly.

The night janitor at a business on Electric Avenue in Bigfork was assaulted when he entered the business. He had no idea who attacked him, as the assailant struck him from behind.

Deputies arrested a man after he assaulted his girlfriend on South Cedar Drive.

A man was arrested on a warrant for theft after overdosing at a property on Flathead Drive.

The clerk at a U.S. 2 East store in Kalispell reported a customer called, drunk, and said he wanted to come down and fight because he was made fun of earlier.

A woman reported hearing semiautomatic gunfire near Pioneer Road.

A representative from a business on U.S. 2 West in Columbia Falls reported they believed a trailer left there had been reported stolen out of Denver. It turned out to have been reported stolen out of New Mexico.

The manager of a bank on Montana 35 in Bigfork reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill.

A River Butte Drive resident in Columbia Falls reported someone tore through his field in a vehicle and knocked over his “no trespassing” sign.

A saddle was stolen from the tack room on a Trumble Creek Road property.

The wheels were stolen off an all-terrain vehicle on Circle Drive in Columbia Falls.

Tools were stolen from a trailer on Columbia Falls Stage Road in Columbia Falls.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a suspicious man who walked into a West Idaho Street store with a gun on his hip and cuts on his hand wanting to buy bandages. When employees asked him about the gun and asked him to leave, he became belligerent.

Several men were reported throwing beer bottles around on Rising Sun Circle. The person who reported the men said their cat came in covered in beer.

A Fifth Avenue West resident reported an unknown drunk woman was pounding on the door. A man eventually drove by and picked her up.

Several youths were reported trying to steal from cars in a parking lot along Hutton Ranch Road. A vehicle was also keyed.

Someone drew male genitalia on a car on Triple Creek Drive.

A man was reported looking in the back of vehicles over three days.

Three men were removed from a bar on First Avenue West for causing problems.

Several items were stolen from a house on Nevada Street.

Someone smashed the windshield and side windows out of a car on Fifth Avenue West North.

Vehicles were egged on Second Avenue West and Glenwood Drive.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that several youths damaged the bathroom in City Hall.

A representative from a church on Seventh Street West reported a disorderly person who has been picketing the church and causing problems.
