Singer-songwriter gears up for album release

Kalispell singer-songwriter John Guymon is gearing up for the national release of his first album next month.

Guymon recorded his album, “It’s Not Politics People,” with Oklahoma-based Tate Music Group, earlier this year. The album is currently available on Tate’s online bookstore at www.tatemusicgroup.com, but it will be available for wider release, including on Amazon and iTunes, Jan. 8, Guymon said.

“I’ve had a really good response out of it so far,” he said. “She caught on real quick.”

Plans aren’t yet final, but Guymon said he is planning a CD release party in January. He also plans to make the album available for streaming on his new website, www.jgguymon.com.
