Studio becomes Santa's workshop

Every Christmas holiday season, Stumptown Art Studio is transformed into Santa’s workshop for a week.

This year, artsy elves ages 7 to 11 are invited to Santa’s workshop the week of Dec. 17 through 21, after school from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m.

Each day will bring a new holiday craft. Monday’s project is gift tags, cards and wrapping paper. On Tuesday sensational, scented soaps will be made. The elves will create beautiful Christmas candles Wednesday and mixed media poinsettia paintings Thursday. And, tastiest for last, edible Christmas treats will made Friday.

Join in all five days or drop in on individual days. Cost is $15 per day or $60 for the week (members pay $55).
