Arnold Doyle Schreffler, 75

It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold Schreffler of Liberty, Saskatchewan, announce his passing. He was born Jan. 28, 1937, and died Nov. 27, 2012.

 Left to mourn are his children, Rod and Christina, Sara and Michael, and Rick; his five treasured grandchildren, Andrew, Jessica, Ethan, Alex and Mason; his brother, Don; and many close and dear friends.

Arnold was predeceased by his loving wife, Donna, in 2004, “and is now with her.”

Arnold was a dedicated, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He worked with SaskPower before coming back to his roots of farming. He farmed until he retired and enjoyed travelling with Donna. His love of politics and history kept him busy and made many hours of time spent with him memorable.

Descendant of the Studebaker family, Arnold was active in the Saskatchewan and Montana chapters his entire life. Arnold passed away in Kalispell, where he wintered.

The funeral service was held on Dec. 8 at the All Saints Anglican Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Interment will be at a later date.
