3 days of free admission at the Hockaday

| December 12, 2012 5:00 PM

The Hockaday Museum of Art expresses its thanks to the community for its continued support by offering free admission Dec. 27 through 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Visitors are welcome to view the current exhibitions, which include the 2012 Members Salon, featuring more than 120 participating artist members showing recent work. Many media types and styles are represented in the popular annual exhibit, with many pieces available for sale. “Montana Landscape through the Seasons” spotlights the tonalist painting effects of Russell Chatham, and the Crown of the Continent permanent exhibition focuses on the art and artists of Glacier National Park.

Items by 20 juried Montana artists are available in the museum’s gift shop. Complimentary gift bags will be available while supplies last, and free, docent-led gallery tours will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 27 and Dec. 29.

The Hockaday is located 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. A wheelchair-accessible entry and elevator are provided.
