Stumptown Players hold auditions

Local theater company Stumptown Players is holding open auditions for its upcoming production of “Private Eyes” by Steven Dietz at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the KM Theatre.

This fast-paced play within a play will be directed by Scarlett Schindler and will run Feb. 13 to 16 and Feb. 21 to 23 in the KM Theatre. Rehearsals begin Jan. 7.

Roles are available for three men and two women, or possibly three women and two men, ages 25 to 60. Auditions will include cold readings from the script. Actors of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.

Scripts are available for perusal at Whitefish Community Library. Scripts are also available by request by calling 871-6447. 

Volunteers to work back stage, “front of house,” box office and as ushers are also needed and encouraged to attend auditions to meet Stumptown Players, or to call 871-6447.

The KM Theatre is located in the historic KM Building at 40 Second St. E. in downtown Kalispell.
