Did landlord go to the mattresses?

A man calling from U.S. 2 West of Kalispell told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office he’d found a deer head on his vehicle, which he suspected was harassment by his landlord.

The sheriff’s office got a report Sunday of a suspicious man going through vehicles on Plum Creek property on Sunset Drive. When confronted by the reporting party, the man identified himself as Jeff before fleeing in a vehicle. 

An employee at a fabric store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen was spooked after a man entered the store wearing a firearm on his hip. She was advised it is not illegal to do so.

A man calling from River Butte Drive in the Columbia Falls area reported that someone threw an object through a window on his backhoe.

There was a report of a female shoplifter being cornered at a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. The woman reportedly struck an employee before escaping the store.

A woman calling from Ezy Drive reported that her boyfriend was pushing her and her daughter around, but the man said he was trying to constrain the daughter from being unruly. The parties were temporarily separated.

There was a report of a gun stolen from a residence on Shadow Lane.

A deputy detained three teenage boys on Wolfpack Way for acting in an unsafe manner with a rifle. The boys were released to the custody of their parents.

There was a report of a suspicious man fighting with three employees at a grocery store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, and then fleeing the store. It was unclear if the man stole anything.

A woman reported being assaulted by another woman at a residence on Ezy Drive. It turned out they were involved in a mutual shoving match, and were separated for the night.

A woman calling from a Rhodes Draw residence reported that someone entered the house through a window, stealing her television, game console and dog. She suspected that her estranged husband was responsible.

There was a report of an employee being fired from a store on U.S. 2 in the Coram area for stealing $10 worth of food.

 

Kalispell Police got a report from a man near a grocery store on First Avenue East North who said that kids were banging on his van, taunting him and threatening his life. Another caller said she saw a man come out of the van, trying to chase some teenagers, and that man was advised that he is not welcome to camp in the parking lot any longer.

There was a report of a wallet taken from vehicle on U.S. 93 South.

There was a report of a man breaking the screen on a gambling machine and then leaving a casino on U.S. 93 South.

A woman was arrested on mental health charges after her mom reported that the woman was intoxicated and refusing a ride.

Monday morning, there was a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage on Third Avenue East.

Farther south on Third Avenue East, there was a report of a window broken out of a vehicle.

A man calling from Sixth Avenue West reported finding tracks in the snow and other evidence indicating someone tried to enter his vehicle.

 

Whitefish Police got a report Sunday regarding the theft of a camera from a vehicle on East Second Street.

 

Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday regarding a man sleeping in a ditch off Ninth Street West in a sleeping bag.
